1. Who we are

OmAstroVedic is a Vedic astrology product offering birth-chart computation, daily horoscopes, panchang, dashās, matchmaking, PDF reports and a chat consultation with an LLM-powered astrologer. It is built and operated by OmAstroVedic Technologies (OPC) Pvt. Ltd., a company registered in India. You can reach us at [email protected].

2. Eligibility and your account

• You must be 18 or older to use the Service.
• Many tools work as a guest. Creating an account lets you save charts, buy packs and use personalised features; you are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for all activity under your account.
• Provide accurate information. You may delete your account at any time (Dashboard → Privacy on the web, Profile → Delete account on mobile); deletion follows the schedule described in the Privacy Policy.

3. Astrology is guidance, not advice

Charts, horoscopes, muhurta, matchmaking scores, remedies and every other reading produced by the Service are offered for informational, cultural and spiritual reflection. They are not medical, legal, financial, psychological or other professional advice, and they are not a promise about future events. Always consult a qualified professional before making decisions about health, money, relationships or legal matters. You remain fully responsible for your decisions.

4. AI-generated content

The chat astrologer, voice consultations and narrative portions of reports are generated by large language models grounded in your computed chart. AI output can be incomplete, outdated or simply wrong, and may vary between sessions. It carries the same guidance-only status as §3. Do not submit content that is unlawful, harmful, or that you have no right to share.

5. Payments, packs and refunds

• Some features are paid — for example chat-question packs, voice consultations and premium PDF reports. Prices are shown in the app before you pay; payments are processed by Razorpay (India) or by Google Play / Apple App Store billing.
• Packs and credits are consumed as you use them, are personal to your account, and are not transferable.
• Because readings and reports are delivered digitally and consumed immediately, payments are generally non-refundable once the content has been delivered. If something went wrong — a failed generation, a double charge, a pack that did not activate — email [email protected] within 7 days and we will make it right. Purchases made through Google Play or the App Store follow the respective store's refund policy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Break the law, or use the Service to harass, defraud or harm anyone.
• Probe, scrape, overload or disrupt the Service, bypass rate limits or authentication, or access other users' data.
• Resell, white-label or bulk-extract readings, or use automated tools to farm the free tiers.
• Compute charts for another living person without a lawful basis to use their birth details.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, and may throttle or block abusive traffic.

7. Your content and our content

• You keep all rights to the details you enter (names, birth data, questions). You grant us the limited licence needed to compute and deliver your readings, as described in the Privacy Policy.
• The Service itself — software, design, interpretation texts, trademarks and the “OmAstroVedic” name and lotus mark — is our intellectual property. Readings generated for you are yours to use personally; the underlying engine and canon remain ours.
• Public widgets and embeds we publish may be used under the terms stated on the developers page.

8. Availability and changes to the Service

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We may add, change or retire features, and we may update astronomical or interpretive data as our engine improves — a reading you saved earlier may differ from one computed today.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OmAstroVedic and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service — including decisions you make based on readings. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹1,000 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India. If you use the Service from elsewhere, you are responsible for compliance with your local laws; mandatory consumer protections of your country remain unaffected where they apply.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves or regulations change. Material changes will be announced in the app and via email to registered users at least 7 days before they take effect. The date at the top of this page reflects the last update; continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
