Every planetary position on this site comes from the Swiss Ephemeris — the same data source professional astronomy software relies on, precise to fractions of an arc-second. Sidereal longitudes use the Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) ayanamsa by default, the reference standard of Indian panchangs; KP pages use the Krishnamurti ayanamsa, and Raman, Yukteshwar, True Chitra and other systems are supported.
Panchang elements — tithi, nakshatra, yoga, karana, sunrise and sunset — are computed for the exact coordinates and timezone you ask about, never copied from a fixed table. Festival dates follow the classical observance rules the way Drik Ganita panchangs apply them: the tithi at sunrise for most observances, pradosha for Diwali and Dhanteras, nishita for Maha Shivratri and Janmashtami, moonrise for Karva Chauth.
The festival engine is verified by an automated test suite against Drik Panchang (New Delhi reference): all 38 benchmark festival dates for the reference year match exactly — 38 of 38. The same algorithmic engine generates every year on this site, past and future, so what you see for any year is the same mathematics, not a copied table.
