Matching a marriage
A guna score is a starting point for a conversation, not a verdict on two people.
What you get
- Full Ashtakuta 36-guna breakdown, koota by koota, so you can see which factor drove the score.
- Dashakoot alongside it — the South Indian ten-factor method — rather than one system presented as the only one.
- Mangal dosha assessed with cancellation rules applied, not flagged as a blanket disqualifier.
- Unlimited matching, free with an account, with no upsell attached to a low score.
How it works
Both charts are computed from Swiss Ephemeris positions at Lahiri sidereal, then scored on each koota separately. The result shows the per-factor breakdown rather than a single number, because a 22 that loses its points on Nadi means something very different from a 22 that loses them on Vashya. Where a dosha is present, the classical cancellation conditions are checked and stated.

Common questions
What guna score is considered acceptable?
Conventionally 18 or above out of 36 is treated as workable, but the per-factor detail matters more than the total. Two couples can both score 20 for entirely different reasons, and the classical texts weight some kootas far more heavily than others.
Does Mangal dosha mean a marriage should not happen?
No. The classical position includes a long list of cancellation conditions, and we apply and show them. Our pledge is explicit that we do not manufacture doshas to sell remedies.
